    Is there a jailbreak for any firmware above 3.55?

    A.
    No there is not at the moment and any thing you find on youtube that says differently is garbage.

    Can I jailbreak my ps3 on firmware 3.60 - 4.21?

    A.
    You can if you can downgrade your ps3.
    Keep In Mind, That 3000 Series cant be downgraded as of now.

    Can i downgrade from firmware 3.60 - 4.21?

    A.
    You can with additional hardware, (E flasher or progskeet) if your ps3 has a base firmware of 3.55 or below. You cannot downgrade below your ps3's base firmware. Downgrading with a flasher is not a noob friendly task that involves opening your ps3 and even some solidering.

    A.
    You can use a tool called minverchk.to check your ps3's base firmware.

    A.
    The most commonly used custom firmwares are Kmeaw and Rebug, however there is others to choose from.

    A.
    Currently you cannot but in the past with the use of certian tools like fuc kpsn and you could and MAYBE again in the future.

    A.
    No you cannot. Here is a guide to help you find out which games can be played on your jailbroke ps3. There is a few usb dongles available for purchase that will allow you to play some newer games on 3.55 cfw that you other wise cannot.

    A.
    You must format your usb drive to fat32 for your ps3 to recognise it.

    How do i install a psn game package?

    A.
    Put the game package on the root of you usb drive, insert it into you ps3, goto install packages on your xmb in the game section and select the game for installation.

    How can i get a 4gb+ package onto my ps3 for installation?

    A.
    There is a few ways to accomplish this, split4g or fttp'ing it to your ps3 with filezilla are the most common ways.

    My psn game came with an edat fix what do I do with it?

    A.
    Put your edat fix on the root of your usb drive and insert it into your ps3, open your ps3's filemanager and navigate to /dev_hdd0/home/0000000x/exdata/ and copy your edat to the exdata folder for the user you are logged on with.

    I have multiple folders named 00000001,00000002....ect, which one do I use and how do i know which one is for the user i am logged in with?

    A.
    The first user active on your ps3 will be the lowest folder number, the second active user will be the next number higher, so user number one's folder will be 00000001 and user number 2 will be 00000002.

    Q.
    I dont have any folders named 00000001 or 00000002, what do i do?

    A.
    Only the first ever created user will be named 00000001, if you have only ever created 1 user and you delete the first user ever created and create a new user the folder will be named 00000002, so every time you create a new user the folder name will increase one number.



    Example-
    you have a total of 3 originaly created users and you delete the second user and create a new third user your folders will be named as such. user 1=00000001, user 2=00000003, and new user 3=00000004. if you ever delete a user the folder number that was associated with that user with user will not be reused.



    If you created 99 usere and delete them all and create one more user it will be named 0000000100.

    I dont have an exdata folder, what should i do?

    A.
    This is because your ps3 has never bought a game fron the psn store and all you need to do is simply create it with your ps3's filemanager.

    this may need to be revised due to the lv0 keys for ps3 leaked now anything possible on ps3. dunno bout ps4 that been pushed to earlier release due to pressure on these leaks.
