Thread: Banned PS3 Question

I'm new to the ps3, and I've searched this forum to find if there was a way to unbanned a PS3? No, it's not mine, it's a friend of mine, but I want the console, I'm not much of a online gamer myself, and don't mined the bannned console, but still, I'm just curious to know if there is infact a way to unbanned a ps3. Thanks in advice :3

banned for what? if for bad mouth, its only temp. if more serious like threats or stalking, its for life.

Well, he told me that it was because when he was buying a PSN card online (we're in Mexico, which it's a total ripoff those cards), the one who was gonna sell it, told him that there were no cards left, so he told my friend that he instead will give him an e-mail, I think with a password, I really don't know the details, but he said that two or three days later, the PS3 was banned o_o

are you sure you did not access on psn with a jbroken ps3?

I told you, it's not my PS3, and no, he told me he didn't jailbrake his PS3, why? Because he's not of those guys that pirate games, and that he used that PS3 to put the PSN codes in the system. I'm told that you can't access the PSN if you have a CFW PS3

I too have a banned ps3,and as far as I know there is no way to unban....

No, no, o_o he was buying a PSN card online (kinda like ebay) and the person that was gonna sell it, said that he/she didn't have PSN cards anymore, so he/she told him that if he wants, he/she could give him his money back or giving him an e-mail containing a PSN code. He input it, and well, two days later, PS3 banned owo

well maybe then that just breaks the rules i don't know...

Well if the person didn't have any more cards..but offered to send a code through email.Where did the code come from,,stolen?
