    Question How to remove Region Code "Locking" for DVDs and BluRay Movies on PS3?

    Hey Guys,

    I have a FAT CECH-A 60GB PS3(NTSC-J) running 3.55 kmeaw and I've tried to play some DVDs and BluRay Movies but a screen comes up saying that the region is not compatible and whatnot (The DVDs and BluRays are from different regions like India or UAE or France).... So is there any workaround for this problem? Maybe a PKG file i can install?

    i don't remember if you can disable that somewhere in video settings...go see there.

    You can not disable region coding on your ps3, when you set it up the one you picked is the one your locked into
    At the moment the only way to bypass region code is the Cobra Dongle

    LV2patch can make your console to switch any region.

    for DVD change region, you can do that by editing the xregistry, there are lots of xregistry editors out there
