Thread: Rebug Spoofer Questions.

Hi! I have Rebug 3.55.2 with 0.6 update which enables me to play React PSN without altering the VSH files. But lately I have seen PSN games requiring Spoofer to bypass the game req. My question is

1. Do I still need to install Rebug Spoofer 4.00 (I think this is the newest??) since I have the latest Rebug update?? I am confused as it says the update 6 has a spoofer proof for 4.00?? I don't understand as I am really not tech savvy about this.

If I still need to install spoofer, please let me know and how does it work actually?

Use REBUG selector. Since you have 0.6 update installed, just set your XMB from Normal to DEBUG.

go to package manager and install rebug selector from ps3's hard disk. open rebug selector and press L1+O to enable rebug mode(L1+o if i remember correctly, anyways look for the combination key correctly). thats it, your ps3 is spoofed to 4.00

Umm...there are 2 selectors in the pkg which one do I install? And will it brick my console? I was on Kmeaw but changed to rebug but I read it's dangerous to mess with rebug when one does not know how to. I am not good in this can you please explain which selector to install and if I decided to deactivate the spoofer can I do that? I mean, if I on the spoofer anytime, will I still be able to play normally on other games? Thanks!

Choose Rebug Selector 1.6.1.... After install go to Rebug Selector, you will see a black screen with instruction on it. Read carefully each button function (Total 6 command)
Please see your Top-Left screen that has a word MENU = NORMAL

If you want to use spoof 4.00 just active REBUG MENU (I forgot what the command is, L1+X or L1+O) the word on the Top-Left will change to MENU=REBUG...
Exit from Rebug Selector, your console will reboot automatically.
To check it, go to System Setting on PS3 and see the current version. To change it back to 3.55, go to Rebug Selector again and change it back to NORMAL MENU.
