Question regarding True Blue
so how does true blue work?
from what i know it plays most of the newest games that are available today
but can it still play the old ps3 games
also what do you recommend i should do?
should i use true blue or just wait for a cfw that can play the new games?

@Broli9000,
This is the big debate that has seen a lot of ps3 sceners take sides.
On one hand, you have the faithful, wait for free cfw people that will never give any money to people making DRM dongles.
On the other hand, you have people that can't wait and fork out money to play the latest games.
I'm with the latter. I've forked out and paid for the True Blue dongle, and I can say I like it. Yes I've sold my soul in a way, but I wanted to play the latest games, and its been so long since we've seen a stable cfw that can play the latest games. Nobody knows when and if there will be a new cfw.
Theres another thread that describes how the dongle works. To the best of my knowledge, the dongle firwmare determines the custom firmware on the PS3. What I mean by that is, if you had 2 true blue dongles and one had v2.4 and one had v2.5, the PS3 firmware would become whatever dongle you plug in.
If you do decide to go down the TB path, you'll still be able to play all the old PS3 games. I believe theres been some problems with Mortal Kombat, and maybe a few others though. Hope this helps.

If u really want to play new games, then go for the Xbox 360. Or wait for a new cfw.

+ REP ME IF I WAS HELPFUL:rock:

down with the trues*it!
you have tons of backlog games to play,and before you play them all,a new cfw will spring up,or at least the patches...
that's my thought,now do what you want!
