    I have been away from the scene for a while & all the recent PSN games seem to have edats now, what are they and how do you use them..?

    put them in dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata

    BTW I recommend REBUG for it, and be sure to read it thoroughly before you start.

    well dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata

    in which 00000001 is your user id, user which are operating ps3 if you did not know how to know user id you can see the thread link in my signature

    if game required reActPSn than use any tutorial about reActPSN

    Hi guys I have not be on for a long time and I need a new game to play and I saw SECTION 8 it has a .pkg and a .edata . The Question is do I need ReActPSN to play it or can I places the .edata in well dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata folder and install .pkg then play not sure what the .edata does thank

    what's so complicated about it...i mean? have you ever dragged and dropped a folder on your desktop or moved a file? it's simpe as that!

    there's a specific reactpsn games thread so if you got section 8 just with pkg and edat it means regular installation as you mentioned,no reactpsn.
