Thread: How do you Jailbreak PS3 4.00?

I have been googleing and googleing and I cannot find any help on how to just jailbreak my ps3 running on 4.00 ofw. Can someone please help with providing a link to get the cfw files that doesn't require a survey. Thanks

there is no jailbreak past 3.55. if there is, you can find it in this site. All those surveys are just fake!!

U can't jailbreak any version higher than 3.55.

Do we really want cfw 4.00? I mean, Sony is going to have to get tough on people if everyone is trying to steal their sh!t. We are going to see a whole lot of lawsuits man. You can't have a small % of the market that has cfw that "get stuff free" suddenly turn to %85+ getting stuff.

i mean, he's hidding from anyone.. he's still an engineering and all the stuff... Also, he said if he succeed, sony will have a hard time to block us again..

But Kakaroto Says That His CFW 4.00 will Not Allow Pirated Video Games ???

Regarding kakaroto's jailbreak, he has said it himself that it doesn't give you access to peek&poke and thus won't enable backup managers. Just so you know until the private keys have been found you can't expect a cfw or something similar.

if its on 3.55 or below, u can jailbreak it.

Buy a Playstation 3, make sure it is running OFW 4.00, put it in your backpack bag, then go out and rape a horse in public, then when you will get arrested, tried, and found guilty. You will then be sentenced to a couple of years depending on what country/state your in, maybe even less if the judge is lenient. When you're arrested they will confiscate everything you have (including your backpack with the PS3 in it), when you have completed your sentence your items will be returned to you. WALLAH! you now have a jailbroken PS3.
