Thread: Question about xlink kai and online gaming on ps3

Hi, i was watching this video, searching if by any chance you can play online games with the ps3 even if its CFW, and well, i found this



I was wondering if anyone else plays via xlink Kai or can tell me if it really works before i install everything, or have some good/bad experience with xlink Kai

It works for games like COD, but it's still very laggy and that is the reason why there aren't so many people using it.

it works not really laggy the reason why there is not much poeple on it cuz of the configuration that is not simple and some router can make u crazy !!!! like mine !!! so now im playing uncharted 3 online with this little piece of **** ! anyway it help even if it sux

PS: oh and u need the version 7.3.1.7 to be able to play good ! other versions sux

in the official webpage it only appears a 7.1 i think, it says i need to download linux version (since i use ubuntu in this pc)...anyone knows if i need to download the windows one for better results?

also i have heard that you need to use a wired connection in order to work properly,and in certain games no more than 4 players for better results

don't download xlink kai... it's so bad and laggy...you r gonna get pissed fastly !

ANy other way to play ps3 games Via lan?

I haven't used it in ages but it took me only a few minutes to get setup and into a blackops match.

So xbslink is better than kai? they do the same at creating lan internet games? how is the population of users in xbslink?

Both are terrible...you can give it a try, but i'm sure you'll regret it...
You can buy another console (if you can afford it , of course) and update to ofw 4.00,
buy the original game and enjoy psn!

I can't say these days sorry I haven't been on in ages... I know I got blackops matches listed and was able to join and the speed was ok but haven't tried in months....
