Thread: TB CFW vs. Rebug TB CFW

So my trueblue dongle arrived yesterday and before I do anything with it I had a few questions about which CFW to go with.... Reading Rebugs website it sounds as though they are still using the v1 TB cfw and whilst they plan on releasing a v2 they don't know when that will happen, so my main question is should I just go with the official TB firmware, I'm not so interested in reactPSN but I would like a spoofer so I can get around the issue of not being able to play the latest blu-rays that have the firmware version check built into them.

So anyone have any advice on which to go with?
Is there a spoofer that will work with the TB CFW?
If I use the 2.5 dongle updater and am on rebug will that break everything as wasn't 2.5 the release that makes the dongle only work with the v2 CFW?

I suggest using the rebug version. (unplug the dongle while using reActPSN) until you are forced to update to the other version for new fixes

Thanks - do I need to use any version of the updater or will it just run as it came? Or is that what the rebug updater is?

you will have to update it manually after the dongle arrives

I have the dongle but what do you mean? Do I update it with the TB updater? And if so which version?

OK so I downloaded the Rebug TB Edition and installed that but I wasn't sure on which dongle updater version to use so I grabbed the 2.4 version from the trueblue website (which whilst not listed is still available) and updated it that. I have seen a few comments saying 2.5 works fine but the readme says it requires v2 so I figured as I only wanted to play MW3 and Portal 2 the 2.4 would be fine for the time being. I got the dongle update and applied the patch to my Portal 2 disc rip (still need to rip MW3) tested Portal 2 and it worked just fine.

i got this problem to i cannot even get 1 game to work i JUST got my tb can anybody who knows how to get this thing working i just wanna play a few games and all the walkthoughs i had or have found dont have the files i need or dont work or are to old i got the chip 2/1/12 i got rebug on there and i boots and saysrebug but no games work what am i doing wrong ? i have never done this i was useing 3.41 and i had ps3break as a dongle

please pm me cuz i dont get to get online alot ANNNYYYYY help is welcome :((
