Default Which CFW to use ?

Ok, so I don't turn on my ps3 for a while and my firmware is 3.55.2 REBUG, and I've noticed some stuff are not working 100% and I pretend to change it, so which CFW do you recommend ? Also which is the best game manager today ? Oh and another thing is I have an external HDD where it was mainly for my PS3 Games but as I got a WII I made a 150GB partion for the WII(WBFS format) and the rest(350GB) for the PS3(Fat32), but my PS3 does not recognize any partion at all, while the WII does, does anyone have a smilier issue to mine ?

make sure the FAT32 partition is first and plug the drive into the furthest right slot in the front.

install the newest version of rebug and multiMAN. that should fix most of your problems

I've updated my version of rebug and now whenever I boot my console and while the icon of rebug appears I get a red screen.

you have messed something up. is there any writing on it?
hold down the power button until the console turns itself off again
press and hold it down until you get a notice about pressing the PS button to use the controller.

that's the recovery menu, use this to reinstall your CFW.

that doesn't work with some backup managers though. and the way .wbfs splits large files may cause some games to not work.

Well didn't actually though of the recovery menu, I'll try that when I get to my ps3

And if I'm not mistaken this is the error: http://newsimg.ngfiles.com/205000/20...n_of_Death.jpg

yeah. that's not an issue if you can still get to the recovery menu. it usually comes about when you mess up with dev_blind

Just came here to say it is fixed, thanks, btw I tried to apply the patch of rebug (0.6) and when after it's installation my version is not spoofed to 4.00 and I'm not sure if it's compatible with reactpsn as I never used and don't know what it is.

As popman mention, most of the managers do not support the WBFS folder that's why I made the partition. Didn't have the change yet to make the ps3 the first one, as I was kinda worried with this thing of the red screen.

you only need one manager to load your games. (I think USB loader GX supports the folder setup)
and to install the 0.6 update you need to be on the newer CFW version (0.6 is only to fix errors caused by exiting apps in normal mode) and reActPSN is a utility you can use to make the PS3 think you bought certain PSN content just by loading a few files
