Thread: About to pick up a ps3 enlighten me

Heya ps3iso community some of my friends told me some very good things about you,so please share some of you expertise with a total noob :help: .

1)What exactly are all those .pkg and eboot file fixes i keep reading about?Do i need to use/put them somehow?

2)Is true-blue a must have if i want to be able to play new and upcoming games?

3)What do i need to have in order to play psn games on a 3.55 cfw console?Is that what reactpsn is for?

4)Is e3flasher really doing the whole 3.55 cfw and 4.00 ofw dual boot?Does not that mean that you can basically enjoy the best of both worlds (backup games/online games,psn)on 1 console?Is there a catch?

5)Finally is there a way to put dlc content on game while having a cfw console and if yes how?

I know i put up quite a lot of questions there but would really like to know about them .

I just saw your post, usually you should have your question answered in that time. Anyway, here you go:

1. Usually those fixes are for games that require, a newer ps3 firmware.
2. True blue does enable playing some newer games there is a list of them you just have to search, but there is no guaranty that it works for all upcoming or newer games.
3. You can't access psn on 3.55cfw.
4. Yes you can dual boot or like the e3 team calls it half boot, it also serves to downgrade to a earlier FW.
5. Yes reactpsn2.0, I recommend rebug3.55.2+update4 for that. Here is reactpsn tutorial for noobs : [Noobfriendly Tutorial] Use ReACTPsn to activate your PSN games
