Thread: Cfw 4.00???

I've been hearing a lot of rumors about this like online and on Youtube? This is fake right? Sorry I'm new and I like just read like a lot of these post right now. I'm pretty new to the ps3 since I just got myself one yesterday brand new for $200.

There's no cfw above 3.56, and you can't downgrade your ps3 firmware since it came with OFW4.0. You have to wait for a cfw or something similar. Enjoy psn for now that is all you can do.

Yeah I was relying on youtube. Can't believe I fell for such a stupid scam. I knew it was fake...Well when I got my ps3 yesterday it was on 3.70 and I updated cause it told me to update :/. Guess I'll just have to wait for a 4.00 hack. I really want to test out and experience all this hack. Thx you for the info (:

if cfw 4.00 comes out at some point, it will be lol considering either the bootldr or lvl 0 has been cracked. I don't believe sony can do anything on the software side of things to fix such a hack. it's likely that it'll happen at some point, but who knows when...

I bought my Ps3 2008 and didnt know that it could be Hacked :(( so I updated it every Time,crapppp :(.

yeah thats the reason and to give viruses. My laptop can't be infected by virus because my system is fully protected and I know how to remove them myself (:. Well, I hope something comes out for 4.00 cause I'm really just waiting for a new game to be released
