    OK So I installed the 3.55 duplex patch or fix and then it worked I started it from multiman and then the XMB. Then it gave me an black screen and said it needs to install game data or something to HDD Press OK To start is this safe or is it and update?

    yeah, completely safe... it's not an update though...
    it's mandatory data install .
