Thread: Got A game.

Hi guys OK So I figured how to play games off of my HDD. Anyways I just rented a game and I want to transfer it to my External HDD They Are Battlefield 3 & Call Of Duty Modern Warefare 3. I put the game into my drive and it says you need to update to 3.70 or higher. I just ejected and turned off my console. Any ideas on what I should do to avoid the update and play with out updating?

Even if you LEGALLY OWN/RENTED a new game, it still require 3.6+ FW to be booted, so you can't play CoD MW3 on CFW. However there's a version of Battlefield 3 by Duplex which you can download and play on CFW. You CANNOT PLAY 3.6+ GAMES ON CFW!! Well, not without True Blue anyways. If you update to pla those games u'll lose ur CFW and be OFW

If you are in Multiman you can copy the rental of BF3 by pressing O, and modify/swap the eboot using Multimans file manager making it playable. You can copy MW3 but it is not playable at the moment so you won't be able to launch it.

Can you please tell me exactly how I should Modify or swap the Eboot? I copied the game to my External HDD And I Pressed play went to the XMB Launched it from there and it gave a error saying it can't launch. Please help me thanks.
