Thread: Guys , I need your input on what HD drive to get for a CECHP01 model

Hi guys,

I just got hold of a PS3 thats on 3.41, its a CECHP01 (160gb w/2 usb and no media card). I would like to expand the drive like on this one but it seems it does not like WD Blue scorpion or samsung . My other ps3 CECHE01 (80GB w/4usa & media card) currently has a WD SB 640GB hd and I have no issues putting any dive in that console.

So my question is what drive you guys have that is compatible with this model (CECHP01) or know what drive works with this model.

I did a search on the net and on Youtube. The seagate monuentus was mentioned, but I want to be sure before i waste $$$ on the wrong one
