ya you are almost there just need 388 more games

there are more than 1255 games playable the last time I checked.(a few months ago)
it comes to 13TB or more. (when archived) there's probably more now.

thanks for the answers guys, i figured it was a lot. of course region dupes i would not count as separate games. i have collected the wii set, and it was a daunting task, i don't have the loot to buy hard drives for the ps3 set nor the time any more. the wii set is over 1300 games, not including wiiware titles.

i'm mainly wondering how much it would cost to collect hard drives to collect the set.

It depends also psn games.

if you are just getting one copy it's about 12TB for the games up until febuary 2011. and about 650GB for the ones since then.
as for drives. they are expensive now but will be coming down as the flooding rush subsides. 7X2TB drives = ~$650 plus shipping

the main problem though is, you would need to extract all of them individually and delete the files after, one at a time so you don't use twice the space
