Thread: Progskeet vs e3 flasher Please Help!!!

So i'm not really a n00b, I've been on this site for about a year when i got my ps3, but rarely do my threads get any replies, but i need help here!
I have a CECHK so i know i'm looking at a NOR downgrader. I'm on 3.73 thinking about updating it to 4.0 to dual boot
Now I've done research here and I have only found one link about how to dual boot on an e3. It says there's no soldering, but then other places say there is soldering. I'm confused here. And then we have the Progskeet. There is a solderless version, but all the installations are for NAND and i see some places need soldering. I can't find anything about the NOR solderless.

I guess what i am trying to say is has anyone bought e3 and installed it for dual booting and is it an easy process?
And can anyone shed any light about the Progskeet solderless NOR??

by what i've seen besides opening up the ps3 it seems pretty easy, installing the e3 since there is no soldering involved. But that was just for downgrading. The way the dual booting tutorial instuctions were written seemed pretty straightforward, again no soldering. Was wondering if anyone here has done it.

The Progskeet remains a mystery to me, i don't find their website helpful at al :/

I bought my console on 3.41. So, i've never used these methods...
