Thread: What can the psp do on a hacked Ps3?

Im new here and i was wondering what can a hacked psp do on a hacked ps3? i know this might be on the wrong section but i wasn't sure, people have told me that you can play psp games on ps3 . . .pls help me out T_T

If you have a CobraUSB dongle for the PS3 and run their cfw then you can run PSP ISOs from the hard drive. The compatibility, I hear, is pretty good. I don't own one but it's been out for a while now.

id like to know if you can do remote play and play ps3 games on your psp viw remote play, i hear it works locally but i want to know if it does and if it can also work over the internet or if you need psn to do that, i never had psn since i bought my ps3 after groove came out, and i never got in the psp scene

You need PSN for remote play.

You're right, you can stream movies/music/photos stored in the PS3, remote play PS3 games and all the PSX games via remote play on a local network.
The remote play over the Internet requires that the PS3 be connected recently to PSN (so the PSP/PC can find its IP address).

You can even stream audio/video/photos from PC (DLNA) to PS3 (Remote Play) to PSP/laptop.

Other stuff that the PSP can do via Remote Play are:
- Install PKGs, run multiMAN, configure some PS3 settings, access the PS3 browser
