Thread: Games that require a disc in the drive

I really dont understand why some people have a problem with back ups that require a disc in the drive, does keeping a disc in the ps3 drive harm the ps3 in any way? There are some ps3 games that are dirt cheap (around $10) and people can just buy and keep that game in their ps3. is there anything wrong with keeping a disc in the ps3?

Just don't move the PS3 while it's on and there shouldn't ever be a problem with it. I personally keep Gran Turismo 5 in there.

no their's nothing wrong with it but some people are just too lazy and don't want to put a disc in the drive or either they don't own an original disc or even sometimes, their ps3 drive is messed up but i just leave a game in there all the time and it works for me.
