Thread: tb cfw v2

what's the difference in the TB's cfw v1 and v2? i know it has some security fixes but is that it?

They made it harder to clone, sorta like a hypocritical mini-sony.

In all seriousness, how can anybody say this TB dongle is really a rip-off? What's the one most important thing PS3 users are looking for? You know the answer & the ones that have purchased this thing are reaping the benefits. I still haven't taken the TB plunge but I just might if another solution doesn't come about soon. I am too for a free solution for the scene but hey it's not looking good.

Ok I have read many peoples post about the TB, I have one and I can say I am happy with mine, think about it (for me) I have two 2TB external hard-drive with appox 420 games that I have not completed yet and for the price of 1 games that I did not buy there are a host of games that I can also not complete yet, It is simple if you don't like it don't get it..if you want to play Portal 2, WWE12, Need for Speed : The Run (with is really good) and many more then spend the 45.00 stop being cheap. are you really going to sit back and wait to continue to get for free all the >3.56 games out along with the PSN, PSX and homebrew people should not be *****ing about buying a TB dongle...but as far as v2 I am not sure I am using the Rebug TB Edition and all works well

yea, i have a TB dongle and i couldn't be happier. i'm enjoying mw3, rage, nfs the run etc...i'm like you, i don't understand why people thinks that it's a rip off. what do all people on the ps3 scene want to do? play new games right? well...that's what TB lets you do so what's the problem? LOL

The problem is TB is a scam, they can make the games run without it RIGHT NOW but choose not to and instead replace SONY's DRM with their own. Now Batman I hear is the first game that "has to run off their special br-disc" what a coincidence, I only predicted this exact thing happening all those months ago.

Love my True Blue =), playing so many games now. NHL 12, Dead Island, Portal 2, etc... I think TB is worth it.
I was on Rebug TB , switched to V2 and now Rage is not working(every other game works).Edit: Just got it working external no disk on TB CFWv2.

It is not a scam, it does what they advertise, Princeton.edu defines a Scam as: a fraudulent business scheme.

and they aren't a fraudulent business.
