people did spend about the same on PS2s when they were released. it's mostly because sony can never seem to get enough made for the first rush of customers.

yeah, sony does bs. in fact, everything sony has said...from not eliminating bc to not having different skus...has been a total lie. I wouldn't believe anything sony says unless u want to be disappointed later. I'd just buy the ps3 now 'cause there's no telling what will happen with the ps4. considering the ps vita, the ps4 must be extremely expensive ($1000+?) as it's likely sony went the technological (easy) route once again. I wouldn't be surprised if the ps4 required a dna verification scan just to turn on. personally, the reason I pirate is because I don't have the money to constantly upgrade every month which is what a lot electronics' companies, especially sony, expects u to do.

on a side note, I hope Jack Tretton, Kazuo Hirai, and Howard Stinger all choke on the silver spoon that's been shoved up their ***. they epitomize waste of skin as they'd sell urs as well as their own family into slavery if it profited them in some way.

As much as I hate the 360 and as much I think it is a pos compared to the ps3 you can at least get one for next to nothing also if games in your country cost wayyyyy too much you can simply flash them very easy or even better no if your not bothered about playing online because that costs too with ripyousoft then you can RGH most of them in other words you have a Jtag which means running all sorts of unsigned code and the best part games from the hdd.

360 iS A PAIN IN THE @$$ TO MOD,well the most slims are anyhow, and the phats get rrod, THATS THE PROBLEM WITH IT, mine is sitting here in pieces , i was unlucky enough to get a slim with a liteon winbond in it, so i have no idea what i should do, buy a ck lite or the new tx power supply and a sata card or use my pc's sata controller or buy one from tx for $60 ,then do my own gremia, if i fry the dvd drive board during the gremia kamakazi drilling the chip ,then what? i have to spend another 60 on anew unlocked board,60 +60+ 30 =150 , for that i could get a odde, i hear the wassabi has just come out with an update so you dont need to dump the dvd drive key , dummy.bin your self and dont need to spend the 60+30$ from tx to get the equipment to do it, but is itlive "safe" as flashing iextreme with JF, the 360 scene moves way too fast for me to keep up with

also having a locked dvd means you cant dump the dvd drive fw, only the dummy.bin , and i remember reading that when you try to rebuild a dvd fw froma fw and a dummy.bin that because of slight differences in the different slim liteon winbond boards that you can run into some problems
