Thread: News on cfw's 3.72 or higher?

Is there any news on development of new cfw's?I have the authentic versions of Unch@rt3d iii, R3s1st@nc3 iii and B@t-m@n but I'd like to back them up and play from a hard drive.You can't play the games without updating the firmware on the ps3, therefore you can't play from a hd if you do.

there hasnt been news lately but, you can play some new games on cfw 3.55 if you get the fixes for them with either trublue, or if anyone on here has cracked the game. and there is a fix for Uncharted 3

if u want to play 3.6+ games then go and get true blue.

Uncharted 3 is playable from Hdd, the rest no.

@OP If you have the original disc and on a firmware higher than 3.55, then no, you're stuck with playing them from the disc and not backing them up at the moment. There was talk that it IS possible to jailbreak 3.72 as well as 4.00 (Check the PS3 News for more information), but no, there hasn't been a release for said jailbreak, no information if it'll work on any of the 3000 series PS3s.

Okay, I'll check out Trublue or true blue, and the others , but are you saying that there is 3.72+ cfw? 'Cos I have 2 PS3's, one has OFW 4.00 and the other is KMEAW 3.55

Perhaps some forums block out games names? Or IF PS3ISO had anti-piracy measures he'd have 'circumvented' them? Perhaps he's just so 1337 like that. Random guesses lol.

And has been said, no CFW above 3.55! Play your legit games on 4.00 and enjoy PSN, use your CFW for backups and whatsnot.
