    Default How Do You Install Games You Have Downloaded Onto Rebug 3.55 CFW?

    Okay guys so yes I'm a huge NOOB at this!

    Okay so to break it down I need help installing ISO's and PSN games on 3.55 Rebug.

    I have Multiman, FTP Auto Split Server, and File Manager!

    FYI Disk Drive is broke. Hates Reading disks of any kind.

    If you know a fix for that please leave a comment thanks!

    Ok, I see you have done a little research so I will help you out with the next steps.

    If you are using MM (MultiMan) like you say then just make sure you are using the newest version (2.0.9.0 I think...)

    You don't use ISO files persé, you just dump files into the right folders. For MM you will dump each game into it's own folder(it can be the name of the game or the GameID, whatever, it doesn't really matter, but using GameID is best so their isn't any game overlap)

    Let's say you got GameX, you extract the files from the RAR files and you end up with file folder structure like this (more or less)

    >GAMEID
    ----------->PS3_GAME
    ----------->PS3_UPDATE
    ----------->etc.
    and so forth deeper and deeper into the folders

    make sure to dump all the files in the GAMEID folder up above into HDD0/GAMEZ/

    so that the game is in this location HDD0/GAMEZ/GAMEID/

    If there is no GAMEZ folder you can make it with MM

    Now in MM switch from file manager mode to games mode and MM will refresh and show you the new game you just added.

    I hope this is what you needed.

    The only thing I can think of is buy a new one and remarry the drive to your motherboard.

    I'll have to research remarry and see how that works.

    Say I download COD4 there are like 6 or 7 files.

    After I download each file do I leave it in a rar file or extract it?

    If you mean like this:

    Game_Part.01
    Game_Part.02
    Game_Part.03
    Game_Part.04
    Game_Part.05
    Game_Part.rar

    Use a program called winrar and double click the "rar" file and extract and it will "stitch" the files back together for you auto-magically

    I forgot to mention, just make sure all the parts are in the same folder.

    I run games off my external HDD by placing placing my games in my "GAMES" folder. file structure should look like this;

    X:\GAMES\*Your games folder*
    PS3 Phat on 3.55 CFW - 650GB, 3.55 kmeaw - 4.00 Spoofer
    PS3 Slim on 4.00 OFW - 320GB, Unhacked
