yep i know i jb on my own and dont know about region coding

atleast u admitted it. EUR games are usually larger than USA games to accomodate all the extra languages. Other than that no real diff.

The only time you get issues playing different region games on ps3 is when your TV is non HD and cant handle ntsc video on a pal tv, or the reverse. So long as your TV is HD you should never have an issue.

i concur with what the others have wrote... here some further details.

PS3 games are Region Free they can be played in any location. You will not have any problem playing any PS3 games as long as you have a HDTV/HD screen to display the output (NTSC Vs PAL). There are folk globally, playing a variety of games in regions other than where the Code originates. e.g. whether you use BLUS, BLES, BLJS they will all connect to the same servers unless they specifically host by region. in some “rare” multiplayer games, some games (typically third party only) allow you to only play online, with other people using the same disc region for that game. First party titles normally wont & don’t have this problem.

BLES = EU game
They are typically multi 5, meaning they include more than 1 language (Spanish, German French etc). As a result of the added languages the game size is typically larger compared to the US version

BLUS = US version
Typically these do not contain languages other than English (US) and thus the game size is smaller compared to that from Europe
