True Blue question to owners.
My brother ordered me one for xmas because of how I complain I can't play Gundam Dynasty Warriors 3 in English. So I'm going to upgrade my 3.41 to rebug 3.55 anyways,
Here is my question:
After booting a game that requires trueblue dongle, can it be removed? I have a PS3 Slim, I'm thinking if I can't remove that dongle and I can't remove my Ext HDD, how will I recharge my controller :(

Best to get a USB Hub mate. From what I have seen here in other threads the PS3 behaves weird if you remove it. But its always a good idea to have a few extra USB ports, so even without this dongle I would recommend you get one.

alright, thank you for the information.

what does the slim only have one usb port?

Haha this is the exact thing I mentioned about slim owners buying the TB dongle. The end result is, if your'e in the middle of gaming and your controller dies, prepare to lose any progress you made if you haven't saved it recently because A) you have to unplug the TB dongle, B) or you have to unplug your external USB where both cases result in killing the TB game you're playing.
Only way around this is putting the TB games on internal or only playing when your controller is fully charged and recharge it at night when you're sleeping to make sure it doesn't die when you're playing.
Or buy a hub like the one guy mentioned.

You people are joking, right... Your qouestion is ridiculous... My controller lasts I think more than 30 hours of playing, I can`t imagine that you really need to rechrge your controller during playing, I mean if you are playing more than 30 hours without brake you are sick, and you should get some professional help... ]-) I mean, I never charge my controller on my console, I ususally plug it in USB port on my computer, or in USB port on my TV, so I don`t see a problem with occuping both ports on console with TB and ext HDD, bigger problem is if you use move, but you can always put your game on internal...

1. You can't remove the dongle, when you playing
2. Yes, you cannot remove your ext hdd, when you playing
3. You can recharge your controller with usb hub,....
So plug your dongle to ps3(any port at your ps3) and 1 port to usb hub, at your usb hub plug your ext hdd and the cable to charge your controller...
