PS2 Classics? - Why did they stop?
I was very happy when I heard that Sony will start releasing ps2 classics, it was a hope for non-bc users like me. After I saw 10-12 titles, I was full of hope. But Sony hasn't been releasing ps2 titles for three weeks, the last game they released was Tak 2. Of course, they don't release classics every week, there arent even ps1 calssics some weeks, but it hasn't been much since they started porting ps2 games. And I think it is more profitable than releasing ps1 games (Knowing that Sony is a greedy b*****d, that is enough for to keep them going). So is it temporary, or did the stop releasing ps2 games?

I'll bet it's because they realized reACT was gonna screw them badly. They tried to screw us by taking away bc so they could re-charge us for the same game...now that we have full access to most psn content, we ended up screwing them, and now they are bitter so they aren't releasing any more. (just a guess

but more than likely he is right, Sony is the rich kid who is ultra greedy with his toys.

I feel like the only reason Sony rereleases anything is to prevent there being a rarity out there. Like ICO was worth a bundle so they devalue the rare disc with a HD remake, everyone seems to be happy except the people who let ICO sit on their shelf for years thinking it'd be worth something. Luckily I got to sell my FFVII and MVC2 before they totally lost all their 'value'.

it is called know your market and being smart. I for once glad to have the ICO HD bundle released for this generation. Quality gem like that game shouldn't be hidden away on some idiot's shelf. Game should be played and enjoyed, not enshrined and collecting dust

Yes, it seems like a very nice game, and sony hasn't said anything about stopping the releases, so we should wait until next week, they'll probably come up with something for christmas.
PS: I was waiting, you guys to say something "Don't worry bro, they probably just took a break or something, they'll probably continue releasing." At least this was what I hoped for

no matter what any propaganda say: piracy is still no issue for gaming and film industry. of course, they lost some customers (with us) but this really doesn´t make a half of a promille of sales figures.
i think they just earn more money with other stuff. focus lies always on making money at sony headquaters... another reason could be that they need more recources for the vita release
