Thread: TB releases vs normal releases?

Has anyone compared these releases that work with True Blue with normal game rips that we already have? What are the differences, EBOOTs, some other files...? What makes them work with TB?

the TB releases use a Dev eboot, maybe a dev param.sfo, and fools the ps3 into thinking that it's a dev unit, allowing use to play the games as if they were a developer's release...


or that's what ive heard
and if you're asking about gameplay differences, i dont think there are any

You probaably mean debug EBOOTs, I know abaout that, but some people are saying that they actually don`t use debug eboots, but that there is something else, so I am interested if some1 can confirm that they really are debug...

We can't be 100% sure on how they did it.

Anyways The TB releases are the ones that work with true blue dongle
but just to mention i've seen other posts saying that using the
eboot from tb release does not work with the normal releases ---->
(even with the true blue dongle)
so that must mean more files are patched,

well main thing is that there will be newer games to play by using the true blue with the tb game releases,
annoying that people will need to download the tb release even when people actually have that game already.... but as i said main thing is that its working with the true blue dongle

although wait for now and see which games will be release then decide

Edit: strange thing is that the filesize is different between the tb and normal releases even when its the exact same game

these people dont even have a website for support? their main focus is on making money
