Thread: My 40gb ps3

WELL i knew it would come down to this. last night my old 40gb ps3 gave me the red light ,green light, yellow light then to blinking red light thing. i assume its the ylod death i heard about. my question is does sending it to a repair shop really fix it or should i just write it off. i dont really want to **** can it but i dont want to sink alot of money into such an old system either.well i still have my 120gb one to play on but this is a bummer.

sell it on ebay for parts/repair. It's almost guaranteed to happen again unless you pay for a reball service. And even that's not guaranteed to work every time.....it's just the best option available.
