Thread: Need help regarding jailbreak.

Hello!

I´m a bit confused over all this jailbreaking. I did install geohots 3.55 JB yesterday. Will that work if i wanna play games? Should i choose Kmeaws JB instead? Whats the differens?

What packages do i need to play a game? How do i transfer a game to my PS3?
I did red Kmeaws tutorial. Do i need to get Geohots lv2_patcher and not Kmeaws for example?

kmeaw cfw 3.55 is better for playing backups. to play a backup, you need a backup manager like multiman, you can do a search for it and you'll find it. the latest version is 1.16.03 and multiman, you can update it from the program so you don't have to keep downloading it from the net. if you have an external hard drive formatted to fat32, you can just hook it to your pc and put the game in the Gamez directory and if you don't have an external hard drive then you can transfer games by ftp. you don't need the lv2 patcher anymore because multiman has it built into the program so you don't have to run lv2 patcher anymore. if you have anymore questions, pm me and i'll be glad to help you out. one more thing, to play backups, when you get the newest version of multiman, get the bdemu patch also then on your ps3, install multiman then the bdemu patch and you'll be ready to play backups.

Are noobs really so stupid as they cannot find the proper place to ask for help? I mean its been months, people find this site, scroll down to the ps3 section and still cant seem to locate the help section and post here and in news.

Maybe it would be wise to have a NOOBS Tutorial thread in the 'help section' with all these basic questions on.

It still needs a lot of searching to dig up an answer to 'Is a 3.56 Firmware PS3 Jailbreakable at the moment?' or 'Can I downgrade a 3.56 firmware PS3?'

Just saying of course ;D
Don't shoot the messenger but it would be advisable to have these small things from the off, easily findable for noobs.

it doesnt take more than five minutes of either looking on the tutorials, help, or general chat to find one of the million topics already posted over this.

There are already plenty of tutorials on just about everything you need to find out. just gotta do some light reading.

They dont even LOOK in the tutorial section! Hell they dont even READ before posting for help! They want to be spoon fed everything! If they DID read, they would see the ALL CAPS post at the top of this forum that says this is not for help or game requests!

So putting any kind of tutorial in the help section wont do anything! These lazy mofo's dont even want to take the time to read, I mean why read and search? That is not any fun, I can just ask and wait for the answer to be spoonfed to me!!

No I am just fed up to here with these damn noobs that cannot even search the help or tutorials section or even google for that matter! Almost every single one of these noob questions (Posted in the wrong area BTW) I have done a search and ALL can be found quickly and easily on here or google.

So what that says to me is they are saying...

"Screw trying to help myself, screw all that work searching and reading, I will just post my question and someone will answer. Thats a lot easier than reading a few threads or searching. I mean why should I do any work when they can do it for me?"

So yes I am fed up with this crap. And highly fed up with these morons posting a question in a SECTION that clearly says in ALL CAPS DO NOT POST HELP OR GAME REQUESTS IN THIS FORUM.

Honestly these friggin lazy noobs are pissing me off. And damn guys, you long time members should be telling them to post in the help section too. You dont need to be mean like me, but these idiots need to learn somehow.
