i did some research and found that the ps3 communicated with

all those servers. how do i block them through a router or some other way? my router can only max 4 websites to block

If you can block by keyword then you can block "playstation" and it should block all of them. If not then I would just block your PS from accessing the internet, that way you could still FTP over LAN.

research is basically studying, and studying is learning and reviewing information. he saw information on the internet and researched it. he didn't give or take credit, he never claimed he found it himself without help did he? don't jump to conclusions.
and for the OP it is best to cite you're source's of information

block playstation.net and playstation.org it should block sub domains as well.
