Default So many places with news. A way to copy PSX games to HDD?

With so many places with news, so many false leads via google, I am wondering if anyone has seen in your surfing or using for that matter a way to copy PSX games to the HDD to play? Or even PS2 games?

Or is there someone or a team workin on such a thing and possibly a link via pm for me so I can keep track of that?

There is no way to do that, sorry.
So far the only way to play PSX games on a ps3 (other than with a retail disk) is by using the PSN remakes of them.
As for PS2 games, so far you can only play them via USB (and I think over a network) with Open PS2 Loader and only on backwards compatible ps3s.

Is open ps2 loader here on our site? In the homebrew release thread or near that forum? lol

It requires Swap Magic 3.6 or 3.8 (Retail disks) to run PS2 homebrew apps on the PS3.

I aint managed to get it working so far. It just freezes when I boot Swap Magic and try to view the USB stick. I'm going to try using my PSP as the USB device cos I'm dying to try this on my new 60 gig. Also there were some amazing games that I never got to play for the PS2 like Shadow of the Collossus. You can still buy it in my town but it's £28!!!!
