Thread: Singstar downloads share possible?

My wife has most if not all of the Singstars so, how do you want to do this?
Will I upload a song from my HDD or do you want to try and upload one of yours?
Is there any way to tell which song is which?

Ok what i did was using the ftp app to find the song download folder (/dev_hdd0/game/BCES00011SINGSTARFAMILY/USRDIR/DownloadSong) and cut one of the songs to my pc. Then i loaded the singstar game, and the song was "of course" not in the in the singstar menu. Then i copyed on of the downloaded song files to the singstar download folder again! but it remove the file everytime i load singstar, when i go to the download folder on the ps3 hdd its gone. No surprise realy but had to try it hehe, im not a programmer as you can see at the way i do things, but i had to try this! but no go...
Dont know if anyone now a work around this, there must be at registration list for the songs that is downloaded that opdates everytime the game loads?

how about also making a non psn profile with a similar name to that persons singstar file? then possibly the system will think that the correct profile is available on the ps3?

Any progress. Would be great if anyone could make this work!

My wife also has about 50 purchased songs & Im good to upload if anyone finds a way.

Also looking for some map packs for mw2 or black ops if anyone has as I cannot go online to purchase any.

i would love to know if this is possible as we have just been told that all our friends are now coming to us for newyears eve, so would love a drunken sing off lol..
