The Worst PS3 Dongle Ever?
Hey guys I came across this dongle on Ebay and I just had to share it with you. There is no way in the world I would be sticking that thing into my beloved PS3.
I mean good on the guy for having a go at making some but I wouldn't bother trying to sell it.
See what you guys think.
Atmega teensy at90usb PSgroove on eBay (end time 03-Nov-10 10:18:22 GMT)

i am with you on this i would never ever stick that to my ps3 not even my pc
-
WOW! homemade at90usb. But It look messy and Look like fake to me..
-
I don't think it's fake, I just think it's a very bad job.
I don't think it has even been made on a pc board, it looks like he has just used a piece of plastic and has manually made the traces with solder. Also if you look closely he has even used bits of wire to make a couple of the traces. He would have been better spending a couple of quid and buying some heat shrink tubing to cover that mess up. At least he might sell a couple then.

look at the descp
"New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging"
lol
it looks like it played MW2 and got pwnd....lol
-
Brand new? I didn't notice that. LMAO
That thing is just asking to burn itself out.
Even if he sold that for a fiver I doubt anyone would buy it.
-
I'd take it of his hands for $5 (he pay me $5 that is).
-
I think I might have to buy one as I'm feeling quite sorry for the guy because after all he did try.
In fact, naaaah.
-
It's a Frankendongle.
What a pitiful looking contraption.
-
Yeah,i agree,it's verry nasty, and it shure works,but...25 pounds?! WTF... an avr atmel board is cleaner, cheaper and shurely works...
