I have a Slim and my son has a Phat, the differences are faster game data installing, and what I have noticed between the 2 is the Slim seems to download PSN stuff quicker, other than that and the smaller, lighter dimensions and a smaller power lead, I think thats about it

i've been wanting a slim but i have a 60gb and i sometimes play ps2 games so i cudnt give tht up. if slims had backwards compatibility i'd have gotten one when they first came out!

Yeah me to. I still have all my classics from ps2 when I switched to xbox. I figured I'd keep the games in case I got a ps3. 3 years late I finally get one and can't play em :( but atleast I'm off the horrible machine m$ calls a game console
