Thread: Metal Gear Solid 4 or Uncharted?

Which one should I get first?

If you care about trophies, then get Uncharted as it's an extremely easy Platinum and MGS4 doesn't have any trophies.

If you haven't played any of the other MGS games, then I suggest you go pirate/hunt for used copies and play those first.

MGS4 is more of a stealth game but can be played just runnin' and gunnin' but that takes out a lot of the fun. Drake is a more mixed game I assume but is mostly just taking cover and shooting.

Uncharted 1 doesn't have online while MGS4s online has overpriced map packs and a terrible community.


Both games are pretty old so you should be able to pick them both up for twenty dollars or less, so maybe you won't just have to get one.

Uncharted

Mgs4 storyline is great and online is great too, although uncharted is good game too, but i prefer Metal Gear Solid 4 because i played the series since MGS1. And Noggin is right about a few things the map packs are over priced but a lot comes with them like new playable characters (Raiden, Vamp...) he is also right about it being a stealth game, but something i find really cool is that In MGS4 online you can create a character. This is based off of my opinions , go with you feel is better and youll enjoy more. GL

both games are great, for me MGS4 cutscene is to long for me and uncharted is a fun game...

Both are great games u can't go wrong with either one
