idk if its related but on mk vs dc, there is this guy who is named psdeath666 and he kicked people out of servers. he also made it so his name appeared where every1 elses names should be
Hey I figured out a fix for it! Just change your date to 3/2/2010. I just figured it out and I posted it on a whole bunch of forums just trying to help some people out because I just bought Heavy Rain today and couldn't play it. Nothing stopped me from finding a way to play it. But yeah just change your date and maybe disable your internet connection I don't know if it will mess up by there servers. Let me know if this helped thanks!

We are aware that the internal clock functionality in the PS3 units other than the slim model, recognized the year 2010 as a leap year. Having the internal clock date change from February 29 to March 1 (both GMT), we have verified that the symptoms are now resolved and that users are able to use their PS3 normally.
If the time displayed on the XMB is still incorrect, users are able to adjust time settings manually or via the internet. If we have new information, we will update you through the PlayStation.Blog or PlayStation.com.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
