Thread: darkness 2 ??

ive just play the demo on my non hacked ps3 and thought it was quite good
the darkness 2 comes out on friday in shops but when shall we get it on here to work with either a true blue dongle or eboot patch

For me its an awesome game. If you have a decent PC you could always get it on there?

ya my friend played that game last night on xbox and he said its a good game, and its gameplay round 6.5 hours

And it's probably a good title, I personally enjoyed comics, crime and fantasy is a good mix. The first game was pretty good, unfornotely I saw IGNorant give it a 6.5 presentation, but considering those people gave MW3 a 9.0 overall, I say this game will rock.

I still have all of The Darkness comics from when I was younger. The only thing that disappointed me about the first game and it is what attracted me to the comics was the awesome organic suit that surrounded Jackie's body. They completely removed that from the game which was a huge part of the comics, and only focused on the story. Story is good and all but no suit, the game lacked IMO. I don't expect the suit to be in The Darkness II either that and they went the cell shaded route (ala Boarderlands) so no buy for me.

I think the first game included the Darkness suit ( I might be wrong, it's been a while since I played it), You could see it when you were using Darkness in crawling mode, you could crawl back to yourself and return to jackie.

And I think this game should'Ve been a 3rd person action game (with shooter elements of course), with executions like the ones we had in punisher (still one of the best comic franchise games).

Loved the part in the first Darkness when you first get to use your powers in the graveyard against those unsuspecting goons, that was pretty awesome.

Darkness 2 is released here tomorrow, I have my copy booked at the local vid store for $3. Can't wait to play it. So many good games coming out in the next few weeks. So far we've had Soul Calibur V, FFXIII-2, we've got Kingdoms of Amular, Mass Effect 3, Syndicate, That Streetfighter/Tekken hybrid, Resident Evil Racoon City, and now this game as well, all being released in the next 5 weeks, then we have Prototype 2 and Max Payne 3 coming April-May!!! AWESOME time to be a gamer (and own a RGH 360)

This is a great game!
I've played also the demo version and I'm excited about the Full version.

Was looking to buy it on Steam until I read the IGN review (and comment section) on how short the game was. I've got enough 4 hour long campaign games..

LOL, 4 Hours!!! Hah! And they wonder why we pirate.................

let's see, the games $118 here, so that's about $30/hr, hmmmmmm, I could hire me a horse, 2 hookers and unicycle for that kind of money.........
