Default True blue cfw problem please help

ok guys i got a problem. I wanted to update my ps3 to the v2 of the true blue custom firmware. So i went to the true blue official site and downloaded there tb 3.55 cfw v2 pup file.

So i go to update it through recovery mode. You guys know how it goes. It loads it and then it installs it. So it loaded up. And now when my ps3 tells me to press ps button to install it says at the top that it is system software 3.70. is this normal, did it do this for you guys as well.

I tried to reset the ps3 but i m basically stuck at that screen. I just keeps loading back to that screen. what do i do. I downloaded the pup from trueblue official website. what the hell. help please

i just check on psx-scene website and it gives the md5 hash for cfw v2 for tb. And the one i was trying to install matches it 100% but i m just thrown off by it saying that it is version 3.70. Should i finish the install? Did it say 3.70 for any of you guys. or am i screwed and forced and stuck on 3.70.

Hey! Do you have a Blu-Ray game disc on your drive when you did the update? I heard somewhere here that if you have a BD game disc on your drive, it may get the FW from the disc if it is higher than the FW you are installing (not 100% sure about this though).

    Hope this helps.
