Thread: Hows PS3 scene doing?

People are just mad because there is no "free" alternative to playing new games, even though they can get those games for "free".

No, people are mad because certain pirates/devs replaced Sony's DRM with their own and because said pirates/devs are the ones who made this scene a joke, by making sure that no new CFW comes out, so they can make money. The constant, weekly "new discoveries" that lead to squat ain't helping either.

All of the devs who wanted to actually release stuff, were either blackmailed into giving up or they were approached by the *******s group (you know who you are) and were told to stop.

The best either gave up, left or joined in on the money. The rest... Well, how is team ps360 these days and all the other dev wannabes doin'? Truth is, we have barely, if not none decent devs left.

Again, I will point your attention towards the Xbox scene. WHY $hit like that doesn't happen there? Or even if it does it's nothing compare to the ridiculousness we call "PS3 scene".

Also, good for you having a second PS3. Not all people do however.

People who remain on 3.41 and devs that talk about new CFW for an entire year then don't provide jack squat.

I'm STILL on 3.41 CFW myself. What's wrong with that? I can still play the same games as 3.55 CFW. Don't fix what ain't broke!

porting true blue and cobra to various usb devices like the original psjailbreak dongle shouldnt be that hard to do. the real problem is not only trying to find a dev to do it, but finding one that also wants to share it too.

This thread is soooo funny. Wtf is wrong with people here loving this pos ps3. We are all here on this freaking site cause we are pirates. We want free games and the newest games period. Now why not go get a freaking Xbox and do just that. My ps3 been in the closet atleast 4 to 5 months now. Bottom line is pirate games =Xbox .....waiting for pirate games= ps3

The best thing (besides the ability to actually play backups of every new game that is released) is the size that the games take up on my hdd. FF13 is 18Gb on 360 and 38Gb on PS3, smaller installs mean more games for my hdd!!

Try downloading a 3.50 game and try running it on your 3.41. Yeah its broke until we fix it.

3.50 game? What are you taking man? I can play the same games that 3.55 CFW users are playing from my 3.41! There are fixes available for both CFW's dude of the ones we can play!

I have an xbox 360, I do play backups on it. I flashed my firmware to run burned games. Some exclusive games such as FFX remastered, FFXIII Versus, Twisted Metal and so on I want to play if I must buy so be it but if i can get from here running cfw that would be ideal. My understand from you guys and news thread the devs seem to fight between each other or not get along. They are after money. I can tell you for a fact the xbox scene is well alived because C4eva makes firmware for free and along with support. I wouldn't go beyond and say jump ships the xbox scene. This devs need to get their act together and share the knowdleged. I am aware alot of what happened to mega upload. ive been on xbox scene since it was release so stuffs like this aint new. I'm decided to ask because so much misleading information i'm gathering. From what i always HEARD was xbox in general was being ran by kids, and only kids are on xbox live but i believe its always been ps3 who had the children.
