    because we want their work to complete so we can utilize it as part of the puzzle towards getting us some backup support on 4.0.....without his exploit to install pkg files we can't do anything we want, so it would be worthless even if we could get peek & poke. We still would need a way to install pkg files.

    in a nutshell, we can't get backups to run if we have no homebrew to load them for us.

    but from what you've learned/read, do you think peek.poke will be possible?

    Added note, if you read anything on there pertaining to Mathieulh's "findings", disregard it.
