Thread: I Recieved My TBJB2 Today Now I have a Problem Question... ??

Hi I am on CFW 3.55 with the 3.61 spoofer so it shows 3.61 just for the Laugh so anyway I AM ON CFW 3.55 Now today I recieved My TBJB2 Dongle downloaded the required files from the Actual TBJB2 website place the PKG on the root on My USB Stick that is found but I haven't yet installed that because i was reading about it and that needs to be installed after i update the ps3 so now to the .PUP that's in /PS3/UPDATE/ on My USB stick when i go to ps3 update and search storage devices it cannot be FOUND HELPPPPPP..............

agreed, not a help sticky =) btw just saying that to be a arse like bockers ova there...if u gonna post sumthing like that help the dude as well..

what version of the firmware u installing because there was v2 and v1.. try installing v1 then v2 of the firmware.. i dun know if its gonna work but worth a go.. if that dun work might think about changing usb sticks.. if that dun work try updating in restore mode or waheva that other mode is called, when u hold the power button down

If you're installing v2, then it's only from recovery mode, as far as I know.
Also, try disabling spoofing, and instal v1 then v2.
I installed both from recovery menu, btw

i was thinking it was about time i sold out and got 1 of these trueblue sticks i was just looking for a uk supplier and read the install guide althou id suggest going back to 3.55ofw then try the update the paths are USB/PS3/UPDATE place the update pup in the update folder ,insert usb with the ps3 off ,then update via xmb menu(if it dont show you will need to install via recovery menu) install the firmware when complete power off the console again then insert your true blue and power on the console should all be good to go now ............
be careful not to knock or remove the true blue while in use i read it can cause u big problems hope u get it working
if this was any use to you could u do me a favour and measure the device when inserted in the ps3 i have a slim dont want a huge boner usb sticking out of it lol also whats the build quality like

OK... so you just got your dongle, congrats...

1. Download the newest dongle update AND the newest PUP firmware for the TB.

2. Put the 3.55 TB PUP on to your men stick /PS3/UPDATE/

3. Turn off the playstation. Put in the men stick. Turn the main power switch off (behind the PS3) and back on again.

4. Hold down the front power button on the PS3 until it turns on and turns back off again (light will go from green to red eventually). Once it has turned itself off, let go of the button.

5. Press and hold the power button again until your hear 2 fast beeps, then let go...

6. Now your in boot recovery mode, choose the option to update your firmware and follow the instructions (you have to hit START + SELECT and then follow the prompts). That will update your firmware to the TB fw.

7. It should reboot, now you have TB firmware. Now you need to update your dongle...

8. Put the TB update pkgs on the root (top level) directory of your men stick.

9. Go to the games, then install package option and update the TB dongle.

10. Also, you will usually need to reinstall multiman, so toss that on the men stick and reinstall.

11. Play new games

make sure it's named PS3UPDAT.PUP
and it can only update from recovery menu though.
