Great job saros32!I have always craved for a place to exchange MGS gaming experiences.I have completed MGS1-4,played Portable Ops and Peace Walker.Love the storyline, gameplay and voice cast. The first 'cathy' thing I notices while playing MGS4 was during the first gekko chasing scene, where Snake threw his robe away. When he got upstairs,he had to hide.Any ordinary person would choose the card box in the middle, but not our protagonist. The box stated from the side: 'No place for Hideo'.Yeah right.Like Snake never hid under a box :p

Yes, It was also meant that "This is Kojima's last game, and there is no place for him in the new gaming world", at least that's what some fans thought. But he made Peacewalker after that, released a HD collection, worked on "Rising", and now he is going to release two more titles.
The gekko's were a really nice touch, a semi-organic-mobile metal gear is a great idea, but there was one question: Why did Gekko's sound like Bulls? Why were they mooing for communication? Was this a part of Kojima's sense of humour or is there another logical explanation for this.
And there's another thing I'd like to say. If you have paid attention while playing the final of act 2, which you're using a mounted heavy machine gun against gekko's and foot soldiers on Drebin's armored vehicle, you'll notice there are some "Power Suits" , Which is something we have little information. There are some pictures taken with Snake's digital camera:
Too bad, we couldn't see more stuff like this, during the regular gameplay. They just appear for one minute in entire game.
Easily explained, actually. Nanomachines.
If you guys really want to play MGS games (and you have a backwards compatible console), just pick up the MGS Essential Collection, i bought it before MGS4 came out to hype it up and experience the full story. The only difference is no trophies and HD. MGS is by far my game series, although i started on portable ops for the psp, i quickly fell in love with "stealth action" :D
In The Shadow Of Darkness, I Stand In The Light
Maybe Kojima is planning to let us interact with power suits in latter MGS titles, or maybe MGR.Btw your shot is really good but the graphics are kinda 'lacking'.The guns ammo is seen in 'n' out the power sit's right leg.
Gekkos were really cool enemies,I agree.But their MOOOOOHHHH! ( :p ) is indeed awkward.There isn't a logical explanation to all Hideo's inventions.The game is basically sci-fi.
Of course, that's my take on this.
Hey you think we should go on a quest of taking digital shots of MGS4 enemies, backgrounds etc. and post the photos here? Some personal touches, commenting upon and twists would be fun, don't you think? :D

Theres is also some secrets that i realy enjoyed in this game, when we go back to Shadow Moses island where the first Metal Gear Solid takes place for PSX you can take pictures of ghosts(Kojima is one of them) if you have the doll equiped with the camera, if i still have them i'll post some later

i wish there was a way to make the metal gear online from ps2 or ps3 work like a spoof server that makes the games run like LAN so we can play is private hackers only servers
the gekkos are actually using the sound of whales and cows, its so it "soothes" the person into a easy of mind and thus easier for the geckos to surprise you or something to that effect i read that is a old playstation mag before the game was out
