I've read about Frog CQC, but I've never had the chance to see it. It's amazing, I've had more than 10 playtroughs now, but there are still new stuff.

I rarely used the mosin during my BBE run, it was just too risky. If your running low on bullets aim exclusively for the head, and dont forget you have stun nades, stun knife, and empty mags :D

Okay, today I'm going to start act 2, I have only 22 anesth bullets for my pistol, and I really regret that I didn't buy those stupid Emotion mags (I could use some extra ammo. And I might encounter my first B&B member Laughing Octopus. So what kind of strategy do you guys suggest? To take out the first two teams of Frogs I can use sleep-gas mines. And it shouldn't be too hard to beat laughing octopus, as far as I know using lethal means for the beast form doesn't count as a kill. Should I use another weapon like a custom m4 or anti-material sniper rifle? Or Anesth bullets with my mossing nagat? or just something more powerful like rpgs, or heavy machine guns? And I think I'll need lots of anesth bullets do you guys know where tow find some in act 2?

Apparently when Snake drops his smoke you can look up Naomi's skirt by pressing L1.
SG-mine the FROGs for sure, I set like 5 mines and hide in the side room with the boxes piled up. If you don't use them you can pick them back up before the Octopus fight, but you really don't use them in any other part of the game. For Octopus utilize the grenade launcher, since you don't need the lethal grenades for a 0-kill-run you can easily use them to knock her down. You want to prompt her to use her SMG, hide til shes about out of ammo and unload with your weapon of choice. Make sure to watch out for that cheap roll-move she does, you need to climb on the desk or the cot to avoid that one. Use the iPod when she's hiding to recover. There is a definite pattern for this boss fight and she gets real cheap at the end, so maybe save the grenades for the last 25% of her health.

I took down all of the frogs, with no problems. But My psyche gauge is very low, I have to find a way to make it higher, but using items will result with a fail, If I call rose, will it count as something that could cause a failure?
EDIT: Nope Rose doesn't help you with the Psyche Gauge, so I just shook my controller and watch her... :D, well enough MGS4 for me today.

The iPod is a support item, not a recovery item. Does that count? I Google'd it and the iPod doesn't affect your BBE run. GameFAQs: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) Big Boss Emblem Guide by Hellcar

When your psyc gage gets low, either tough it out until the next level or equip muna and go prone for a while. Its very important that during the screaming mantis boss battle that you take time out to heal otherwise you get destroyed by her puppets.

Oh, I'm at the worst part, Big Mama Bike Chase, it's like "impossible".

Dang, can't you ride around listening to the iPod?
I made the mistake of using all my .22 anest. on Vamp, which is unnecessary because Raiden kills him technically and you can use whatever. Now I'm on the damned Outer Haven Ship Bow with x3 rounds total .22 anest. AARGH!
I have actually done this part only using x3 mosin, x2 m82 sniper, and x1 .22 anest. but only after a few continues.
Edit: hell yeah just got it using x3 mosin, x3 m82, x1 .22 anest., 1 SG-mine, and the mk-III for 2 shocks. Just ruined mantis day without a scratch on me too, I ignored the puppet FROGS and Meryl entirely and was real aggressive.

The Bike Chase is 50/50 between skill and luck. Oh, and if your having trouble getting through the first two areas on a single health bar, save in the second area, exit the game and fastforward the ps3 clock a few days, i read somewhere that should restore your health to maximum.
Good job on mantis, that boss probably took me the most amount of tries besides the bike chase. after mantis your pretty much home free :D
