Devil May Cry 1, 2 & 3 Rated For Xbox 360, PS3 By ESRB [ESRB Ratings Indicate That Capcom Is Planning To Bring Devil May Cry 1, 2 & 3 To Xbox 360 & PS3, Perhaps As An HD Collection?]

There’s no doubt about it: a lot of people out there are angry about this upcoming Devil May Cry reboot. Some really don’t like Dante’s new look (a move that Capcom says they planned as being controversial), while others don’t like the fact that Capcom is handing off development duties to Ninja Theory, which will make this the first console Devil May Cry game that’s developed by someone other than Capcom.

If you’re one of the people disappointed by what we’ve seen of the latest Devil May Cry, never fear! According to a some new ESRB ratings, Capcom is planning to release the original Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening on both Xbox 360 and PS3.

The nature of these re-releases has yet to be revealed, but it’s pretty likely that Capcom is planning a full HD re-release of these three games (unless they just pop the originals up on XBLA and PSN). After all, everyone’s doing HD collections these days, and capitalizing on the emotions of those who are disappointed with what they’ve seen from the upcoming reboot definitely isn’t a stupid decision on Capcom’s part.

Not much is known about the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the original Devil May Cry trilogy besides their ratings (they all got an M rating, in case you were wondering), but we’ll be sure to update once Capcom decides to share more details.

Awesome! I love DMC3 and I have the Special Edition, one of my all-time favorite PS2 games! Sadly I never played DMC1 nor DMC2, and this could be a great opportunity to catch up! :D

That's what I had been hoping to hear.I have played all DMC games,my favourite being 3 ofc and my least fav being 2.I think we shoudn't criticise Ninja Theory before the new DmC game is being released.I think the data that has been leaked regarding Dante's past,reason for this game to be rational is good enough to say that the game is close to DMC history.Well,if my Dad was a demon and I had demonic abilities as a teen,I think I would have done a lot more than just smoke.I would like to see how this type of trash Dante rises and becomes the awesome hero we all are cool with.From smoking to strawberry sundae and pizza.Seems good to me :D
The experience of DmC Legacy is worth living,so I believe this 'possible' HD remake would be idealboth for people who have played the games before and Venom
Just don't forget to bring pop corn,soda,pizza,the ps3 3.6x keys and a way to create a 3.7 cfw if you are gonna play this on your jb console or simply buy a new legit 3.7 ps3!(And the HD remake ofc)

sadly enough.. i didn't finish Devil may cry 4 because it had no trophies.. I mainly want to play games for trophies now.. a ***** sorry.. 4plats and counting.. RE5 here i come for 5th.

I hope DMC3SE is released on disc. The Metal Gear HD collection has special edition versions of their games.

If the game companies put out extra content in exchange for our money we should not be giving them the same amount for a slightly inferior port with better graphics.
