The solution is here, and it's automatic, free, and doesnt require ANY WORK from your part. Simply install, run, and it'll do all the work for you, no hassle!

Latest version is 3.02 (as of 3/Nov/2011) allows a 44% success rate (instead of 37%), so if it'll take a few tries but it'll get it (completly automatic), and since all dload sites support multiple tries, then you should have no problems

how do you use this? i installed it but still jdownloader behaves no differently, it still pops up asking for Captcha for fileserve, waits like 50 seconds, fails and then doesn't try again for another 30 minutes. how can we get it to try over and over again?

That's odd. I just test it with fileserve and if it can't guess it it display the captcha box as usual. Anyways, to uninstall, just find "Auti recaptcha" in ur uninstall programs list. Should remove safely. Restart JD and it'll work.

thats fileserve own way of preventing exploits like these. If it isnt working then your best bet is to just delete the plug in.

EDIT:: just installed this, Fileserve doesnt recognize the plugin.. and Filesonic kept trying to get the captcha but keeps failing and finally gave me a "fatal error".

I just used it on filesonic, it took ~6tries to get it right. Since you get ~25% chance of getting it right, it can take a few tries (a bit more if you're unlucky). But it's okay if you're leaving it in the background downloading and you dont want to bother at all

And fatal error? O.O That's new. It just probably exceeded the number of retries allowed lol.

yeah, fatal errord me and then moved on to the next link. the fatal error gives you like a 5 minute penalty so you have to wait again. Tried to get filesonic to work about 5 times, decided to unistall since you cant manually override it.
