ok where to start
Ive got gta iv eur version (disc and a backup)
on my disc version ive installed the updated .pkg that is 22mb and brings you to 1.06 i believe, checked my hdd0/game/bles(xxxxx)/USRDIR and the update.img file is present
replaced with the pinkhouse mod menu update and can run GTAIV with the disc and the mod menu for offline and online so all thats fine n dandy but
when i want to run my backup of gta (reason for backup is because i have a modded common.rpf in which i changed the handling.dat of the cars for extra drift ability (: ) from multiman i have to delete the update patch from game data utility on the xmb just to avoid an infinite loop loading screen at the beggining when you boot the game from multimans bd mirror
so heres where im confused and have tried many work arounds but end up with same result, what i really want is to have the modded commmon.rpf aswell as the mod menu working on my backup cause you cant have a common.rpf mods on disc version cause the file can only be used when the backup is made
if anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction ill +rep you and whatever i can do so both parties are happy haha
but im assuming this has been asked before so i searched the boards for gta iv mods but didnt come up with anything
and if this cannot be done then someone inform and ill close the thread
