Midway's newest offering of its over–the–top baseball game, MLB SlugFest 2006 will feature a new create–a–player mode, updated team rosters and stadiums, along with a new library of signature animations and extreme collisions that have distinguished the franchise since its debut in 2002.

• Create-A-Player: For the first time ever in the SlugFest Franchise, you create your very own sluggers and flame throwing pitchers.

• It's On-Fire: Catch-fire with Midway's classic fast and furious, adrenaline-style gameplay and hit tape measure homeruns, slide in spikes high or toe the rubber and let loose some chin music.

• The One and Only: SlugFest is fully licensed, over-the-top baseball which means you get all of your favorite teams, players and stadiums in the most raucous brand of baseball you've ever seen.

• The Most Entertaining Baseball Videogame: Humorous play-by-play and color commentary by the voice of Midway Sports' Tim Kitzrow and his laugh-a-minute sidekick, Jim Shorts.
