    about the part where you adjust the laser angle

    how will you know when to stop? i have tried adjusting the cog one notch clockwise and it managed to read some discs it was not previously able to read. but now im afraid if i try to adjust it a little more the lens itself will make contact with the spinning disc, or is this a dumbfounded assumption and the lens will never make contact with the dvd no matter how i adjust the white cog?
