    Can you do that with any model? And, will there be some sort of sideffect if you do that (i.e. Playstation discs not working, etc.)?

    As far as I know, it works on any Slim PS2.

    This method has no dodgy side-effects, so you needn't worry. Just take care when your doing it.

    Do you have to do this to play any ISO? My dog knocked over my PS2 slim and broke my FFXII disc so I would really like to play that again without having to buy a new CD

    This Tutorial is to show you how to setup your slim to use Swap Magic. If you want to make a back-up of FFXII and play it, you need to get your hands on a Swap Magic disk. Search ebay and Amazon.

    Well, if your modded PS2 can play back-ups without any problems, you don't need swap magic.

    Hey man, ur tutorial is pretty clear, but im having some problems ???
    1.) i cant find the second laser, ?_?, I have a brandnew ps2 silver slim model No. SCPH-79001
    (is it near left of the reading lense or is it left of ethernet port? Or further
    2) Do i just Burn iso's to a dvd and then play em?
    3) Do i only have to cover the 2 lenses?
