My brother owns a original copy of GOW 1 and 2...

    I may sound dumb but...

What will i need is the following

    1.IMGBURN
    2. DUAL LAYER DISC (What brand? Verbatim?)

And how can i burn it??

I know how to burn images in normal dvd's with 4.5gb worth of files... Help me... Thanks.
That's exactly it, you burn it on a dual layer disc. Verbatim is the recommended brand for DLs, and IMGBurn is the recommended software as it will automatically do the layer split.

However, it depends how you boot your backups as it's harder to boot a dual layer backup.

1- You never burn a dual layer disc at 8x, for Varbatims it's usually 2.4x.

2- What I meant is a lot of boot methods cannot boot dual layer discs... for example ESR and some modchips.

I wish my Ps2 is US Version... As you can see i have PS2 Slim "Scph 900006"... I preferred "Scph 900001" or "Scph 900000"

Burning at high speed is the way i do my PS2 and XBOX 360 for about 5 years and i've had about 3-4 messed up discs.

It doesn't really make a difference if you've got a good quality writer and discs.

it depends what you consider high speed; keep in mind we're talking about dual layer discs. Memorex and Verbatim are usually the 2 options in most stores; Verbatim is better than Memorex, and their recommended burn speed is 2.4x but they support up to 6x.

    According to the official guides:

All consoles made before mid 2008 work with FMCB. The new Slim SCPH-9xxxxx models with a Date code of 8C and a BIOS v230 dont work with FMCB. All models after this version also will not work with FMCB.
    And please don't hijack threads.

Hi, I only just begun downloading games so bare with me if Im being noobish.

I downloaded Suikoden 3 from this site (to be more exact this one: http://www.ps3iso.com/101051-post157.html ) and extracted the stuff via WinRar. I downloaded Imgburn and tried write it over but it couldnt find the file, or rather, it could find a file that it supported. I read in this topic you could just rename all files with a .iso after and i tried doing that (took painstakingly long time to do it with all the 32 parts though...I) but Imgburn still cant find the file.

I didnt download the other thing you recommended, qdownload or what its called, could that be a solution to my problem?

PS: Sry for spelling mistake, swedish...
